SPRING SEASON
2,5 - 3,5. 2026
Wonder Youth Dance Education Programs are held seasonally as residencies within the
San Marino High School Dance Department.
Dancers ages 11-18 (middle school and high school) are invited to join a 4-week series of weekly classes starting Thursday February 5, 2026 and running through Thursday March 5, 2026. The series will include a one-hour Contemporary dance class and a one-hour Composition class.
With instruction led by Justin Epstein, Contemporary classes will mentor students on movement exercises and modern styling, culminating in a combination that encourages both technical structure and artistic play. In Composition, dancers will have the opportunity to create unique phrases and choreography of their own, guided by mindful improvisation, rhythm and structure.
Classes will be held in the SMHS Dance Department and are open to all local and neighboring communities to participate.
