Criteria

>Wonder Youth Foundation Grants prize winners should demonstrate innovative artistry and technical proficiency in their submitted category.  Younger dancers are being evaluated on potential talent over proficiency of technique.

> Grants will be based on the board's belief that such grants are important to the individual's growth, enabling the capacity of the individual's needs in pursuing their dance future in classical ballet and contemporary repertoire.

> Are the Youth Grants open to international participants?

Wonder Youth appreciates your interest in sharing your works with us.  However, we currently only contribute prizes to citizens and residents of the United States of America.  We aim to be able to open and further our assistance overseas in the near future.  Check back with our Entry regulations.

> Can I submit more than one variation or contemporary piece?

No, each participant can submit only one entry.

> My dance does not fall into the applicable categories listed.  Can I still participate? 

No.  We will only receive submissions within the entry categories.

> Can I participate with a variation that has been previously used for competitions or performed on stage?

Yes.  You are free to enter any works that were previously completed or performed within 2024.  Our mission is to assist and to share, to elevate and to celebrate.

> Can I participate with the variation that has won an award previously?

Yes.  Congratulations and absolutely!  You are free to use videos that were recorded within 2024.  Winning an award from previous competitions will not interfere or gain priority in the application process.  Our prize recipients are strictly measured by Wonder Youth's criteria requirements and its broad decision.   

> Do I need to worry about copyrights from videos that were recorded?

Yes.  If you have been selected as a prize recipient, Wonder Youth Foundation will require the content owner's written permission and usage release for educational purposes and use of videos to announce publicly . 

> I am having trouble uploading videos.
